In addition to teaching at Sato, I'm a part time lecturer at CSULB for the Science Education Department and in the summer I co-direct Young Scientists Camp at CSULB. I'm curious about nature and like to bring that out in my students in the classroom by using inquiry based instruction and project based learning to explore the world around us.

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me on the trails running long distance and my newest hobby of mountain biking.
